For the touring sort, Hoedown Hill makes a curious, yet convenient, stop. It lies but a short jaunt from the larger offerings of Eldora or Granby Ranch. One might ski a dawn patrol here, then journey onwards, the road offering a scenic transition betwixt small slopes and more substantial peaks. The drive is short, allowing for flexible adventuring.
