Cookie Policy
Last updated · May 17, 2026
Powdorf uses only a small amount of browser storage, and only for the Service to function. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking cookies at this time.
What we use
- Authentication storage (strictly necessary). If you sign in, we store an authentication session in your browser's local storage so you remain signed in across page loads. Without it, signing in would not work.
- UI preference cookie (functional). A small cookie remembers interface state such as whether a side panel is open. It contains no personal information.
- Provider operational data. Our hosting and map providers may set their own strictly-necessary cookies (for example, to balance load or prevent abuse) when their resources are loaded.
What we do not use
- Advertising or ad-targeting cookies.
- Third-party analytics that profile individual users.
- Social-network tracking pixels.
- Fingerprinting.
Consent
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and similar laws, cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested do not require prior consent. Functional preference cookies are generally treated the same way. Because we only use such storage today, we do not display a consent banner. If we later add cookies that require consent (for example, analytics or marketing), we will introduce a consent mechanism at that time.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out and reset your preferences. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely, though parts of the Service may not work as a result.
