This mountain's character leans towards the unvarnished, a place where the ski experience is the primary focus. For the touring sort, Pebble Creek pairs well with Sun Valley's Bald Mountain or even its Dollar Mountain. These are within a reasonable drive, roughly fifty miles, making for a varied itinerary. The roads between them offer mountain vistas, a journey through Idaho's high country.
