To link Montage into a proper journey, one might consider pairing it with Elk Mountain, but a circuit encompassing Jack Frost and Big Boulder would offer a different flavour. The drives in this region are generally not arduous, affording one a fair tour of the Pennsylvanian landscape between resorts.

As an independent operation, Montage does welcome the Indy Pass. Be mindful, however, that these smaller peaks are often a different proposition than the vast western expanses, a detail wise travelers do keep in mind.
